This is my dad. And I will so be using his bike for a photo shoot... oh and thats Maggie in the basket. Cute side note. They have two of my pups from Lizzies litter. Maggie and Theodore. Theo is gigantic! I don't know how that happened. His parents are only 4 pounds each, but alas Theo rocks the 9 - 10 lbs mark. Boy does he like to eat. :) Theo also gets bike sick, apparently he was throwing up over the side of the basket. Im laughing so hard right now trying to type this story. Next visit to Naples I'm determined to get some great pictures of my parents and their fluffy pups!

History needs to repeat itself!

Lots of people don't know this about me but I used to be a potter. I mean, hard core... Move to like Asheville North Carolina, Potter. We are talking overalls and no shoes! I prob wouldn't even use my straighten, kind of potter. Well than parts not true. But I loved it! I loved getting messy and it was freaking amazing when I would create this bowl, mug, or what have you out of dirt. Full on dirt. I love drinking my tea or coffee out of something I created. I starting playing with dirt my freshman year of high school. I was taught by the wonderful, Mrs. Torrance. She was amazing! I learned so much from her. Then I graduated and went to FAU. I went into overtime finishing my pre-recs to get into a pottery class. That was when I met my professor Mr. McCoy! Talk about a Potter. He was kind, patient. An incredible teacher. I learned so much about myself then. I knew that I was happy. i knew that if I won the lotto I would have a studio and this would be my thing. Well after I left college I haven't found a place to get dirty again. I emerced myself deeper into just photography. Building my business and I see my photos and I love them. All the while feeling as if they are inspired by my dirty messy past. That might be why I love the vintage look. I love textures and it is just one other way for me to create. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE photography, Photography is my thing. But I also was really great at pottery! In-fact my mother won't give me all my great pieces back. Which is fine. The only thing is that I feel like I really started to find my niche in Pottery. Like unique 'me-esq' type of things. That's just one more thing I would love to add to my crazy life! But now you might see why I have an attachment to the vintage, dirty looking, sun-inspired pictures.

a little about me.

... I think its the cold weather, I'm not entirely sure. In fact my feet are freezing! This morning I woke up to the cold. {cold to me} Im more of a sunshine, hot weather girl. Hey my blood is thin.. As in very. I grew up in sunny south Florida. So the cold doesn't mix well with me. Thats why I think I act stranger in cold weather. So today I was updating my website.... and I stumbled upon my old wildflower pictures. I just adore field pictures. These pictures made my day for a couple of reasons. I learned that Mark, my boyfriend will do just about anything for me. Including sitting in flowers for 30 mins while I play around. I also thought.... no one normal sees fields and freaks out like I do. I mean I'm driving 65 miles an hour down the highway and I see a field and I get excited, screaming excited. {how I have a boyfriend is amazing} I get flooded with creative poses and thoughts. I literally go nuts. needless to say Im not normal. But Im fine with that.... so being a dork and refusing to get up off the sofa today, since its cold and the windows are open. I created a thing for me.... hopefully I will read this in 5 years, laughing, and I really hope things don't change. I really want to appreciate it all. Cold weather and all! :)

oh and I just started to read a new book.... books take me about 3 months to finish...

Good Days!

You know those days where you just want to listen to your music... Mine I swear is incredible. Inspiring and Im pretty sure Mark thinks its Uber girly.... greys anatomy type I suppose. But thats my genra.. Im just talking about being completely relaxed, calm, and happy. I occasionally get flustered, and stressed about building my business, while working somewhere else and it just gets so frustrating sometimes. Picture me with my head in a pillow streaming....yahhhh. So its great to have the relaxing days where your ears are happy! Thank god for Pandora. It has just opened up so many artist and my favorite artist as well!!! I just love it! So Whenever I edit pictures I jam out. I swear it makes for such better picture editing. With my pups at my feet, coffee {iced or hott} and I can crank out some beautiful touch-up/enhansments! It just makes me happy. Music can put me in great moods and moods that just make me fall back in love, be thankful, and inspiring!

So Im thankful today. I love where we live, I love that its on the first floor! Thats HUGE for me! I have the BEST clients, Greatest Friends ever and the most amazing boyfriend. I don't think he reads my blogs, or else he'd tell me about all my typos. yes I write like I talk and I don't try and correct myself too much. He is one of the most amazing people in the world. I promise! The nicest, kindest, most loving guy ever. oh and he's mine! Sometimes I think he's crazy to put up with my rambling, crazy ideas. But I've never met anyone so supportive. You know the puzzle pieces that fit so nicely together, the ones that don't wiggle, that don't fight thats us. We just fit together, huge dorks. but happy dorks none the less. When we first started dating everyone, Every single person that knew him would say how happy he was because he was just the nicest person. All I wanted was someone nice! Its very important. He has the best sense of humor {however he'd prob be like Kim I think they get it} But I just wanted to say Mr. Mitchell if you are reading this come up and tell me you wish you were a cool dolphins fan! Lol he would never say that.... okay say you Hate Cheesecake! Ill know somethings up!

Ugh how freaking amazing is this... We shot Joe's Pictures for his CD back in February-March! Its so exciting to see the pictures that I shot on an actual c.d... basically its amazing! He is extremely talented and just a blast to hang out with... Joe=life of the party! When I first met him it was actually at howl at the moon! I knew he was talented, you can tell. He has a passion for music and this musician can actually do it all! He writes the songs, sings, guitar, drums, the whole enchilada! I have shot his beautiful girls.... He has 4!!! Green Dresses and Pink Nails :: Bri's Bridal shower of pinkness

Green dresses and pink nails.  We wore the same colors however the bride rocked hot pink pumps.  Just like my barbie doll.  Actually Bri looks like my barbie dolls; I'd always cut their hair and throw them in the pool.

I haven't made this drive in years, 3 to be exact.  It's been too long, I realized that I can't forget all my memories but why would I want too? It happened and I absolute love my life now.  So I'm driving down to Boca Raton to see friends, the great kinds of friends that don't care how many years have gone by. Briana is getting married, but this was her shower.  I loved the décor. The room was pinked out (I totally didn't make up that word either) it's like pink squared.  Absolutely wonderful to see all my old college friends.  Now that I've made this trip in one day they are going to see a lot more of me.  (insert wink here)

I also forgot how much I love my 50 mm. So lite and amazing.  Me and my 80-200 have been best buds so it was nice to hang out with my nifty 50 foe a bit

Ps. Long car drives with good tuneage is key.  Very relaxing.

2 weeks

Ha okay so mark is gone for 2 whole weeks!! I totally cleaned out the fridge and hid the baking goods and such down on the bottom shelf. Im going to try and start a whole new workout and eating better, well because I have been eating really bad. And I do mean really!! Ugh. This is going to be interesting because there is suppose to be amazing wedding cake coming soon.. {awe just a little bite} I also have a girls get away! That will be so much fun! I'm way to excited!!! Clearwater beach better watch out! I'm going to try and perfect my sangria... Yup Oh and here's a huge one.. I am trying to not bite my nails anymore!! Its been 11 days.. I just want to paint them pink and red and all sorts of fabulous fun colors. So as you can see I'm thinking this is going to be so hard. I went for a run yesterday for 40 mins. It was fine. I just got bored. And unlike Lizzie, she isn't bored at all. She is and has been in a very peppy mood. My dog has been going nuts for about 3 hours today and I have no idea what has gotten into her. Well the purple monkey is hot! Poor Gus :( Anyways thats what I have been up too and it will be pretty interesting to see what else is in store for me :)

I think this is what blogging is suppose to be all about

I have done the impossible...well the impossible to me, being me. I must say I have no idea how it happens most the times but somehow someway I am able to use this computer to do what I want it too. Trial and a massive amount of error, but it is possible. I have changed my logo. I also cleaned up some of my website. I wanted a more clean look! the splash page has some added fun, including my logo. See this is what a bad back forces you too do. But now I am off to watch true blood. Yes my boyfriend happens to be fascinated with vampires. So being the supportive girlfriend that I am I shall now turn off my frou frou, Michelle Featherstone, Sara Bareilles, happy fun music and watch what will defiantly give me crazy nightmares, which will ultimately keep me up at night, thus learning new, amazing things that my computer can do/create. Lets let this cycle repeat shall we... and no post is complete without a picture :)

These are a few of my favorite things.....

So Im in the mist of searching for new furniture. And Its def. the mist like the dream like kind of mist! I won't be getting this for quite some time because my imaginary pendulum always swings towards, lenses or some new nifty something or other for photography!! UGH Like my new shoot sac! Its amazing and it makes me happy! Its easy too use and I feel like I can finally move the way I want too without being scared I am going to loose a lens. I mean come on if you ever saw me shoot you would think I was crazy. Lets just say I have lied down in some places not so pleasant.. but I got the shot :) Here's a the deal-e-ooh with the fantastic-o furniture I will acquire one day! Until then I will hang out with my amazing ikea furniture that will always have a place in my heart! Any store that has $1.00 frozen yogurt on a cake cone! Is my hero! Did I mention tax is included! Awwhee yah!

New blog

What about bigger Pictures!!!

So say hello too my new blog... I like it and I think my title rocks!! Its uber cool and It took me forever.. I am obviously not a web designer. Lets just say that code and Km do not mix. It's kindof like the cold I hate the cold. So anyways enjoy the blog!!! This morning I woke up at around 5:00 am it was such a bad weather day. There was lighting literally right outside of my house. I was really frightened. I was worried about Mark at work, yes he was already at work... hmmm and yuck! And he works outside. Never the less he had plenty of text messages from me telling him to stay indoors... So I got my dogs and feel asleep again.. kindof.
